23. התיישנות
(א)התקופה שבה מתיישנת תביעה לפיצויים לפי חוק זה היא שלוש שנים מהיום שבו קרה נזק הזיהום (בחוק זה – תקופת ההתיישנות).
(ב)תביעה לפיצויים תתיישן בתום שש שנים ממועד התקרית אף אם טרם חלפה תקופת ההתיישנות, ולענין תקרית שהיא סדרת אירועים יימנו שש השנים האמורות ממועד האירוע הראשון.
(ג)התיישנה תביעה לפיצויים תפקע הזכות לפיצויים בשל נזק הזיהום.
