16. פקיעת צו עיכוב
(א)ניתן צו עיכוב לפי חוק זה ותוך שלושים יום מיום שניתן או מיום שאושר, הכל לפי המועד המאוחר יותר, לא הוגשה תביעה פלילית על העבירה שבגללה עוכב כלי הטיס, בטל צו העיכוב, ואם ניתנה ערבות לשחרור כלי הטיס, תוחזר למי שנתנה.
(ב)הוגשה תביעה פלילית כאמור, יפקע צו העיכוב עם גמר דינו של הנאשם ואם הוטל עליו קנס – עם תשלום הקנס, זולת אם הורה בית המשפט על דרך אחרת.
