חייב אדם לענות, לפי מיטב ידיעתו ואמונתו, על כל שאלה שישאל אותו הסטטיסטיקן, או עובד מוסמך, ובלבד שהמידע דרוש לסטטיסטיקה שאיסופה הותר לפי פקודה זו.
