8. מטבעות זכרון ומטבעות מיוחדים שהוחל בהכנתם
(א)על אף האמור בחוק זה, יהא בנק ישראל רשאי להוציא מטבעות זכרון או מטבעות מיוחדים כמשמעותם בסעיף 33א לחוק בנק ישראל, התשי״ד–1954, הנקובים בשקלים, ובלבד שהבנק החל בהכנתם לפני יום תחילתו של חוק זה.
(ב)מטבע שהוצא כאמור בסעיף קטן (א) והוכרז על ידי הנגיד כמטבע זכרון או מטבע מיוחד, לפי סעיף 33א לחוק בנק ישראל, התשי״ד–1954, יהא הילך חוקי בישראל.
