12. תקופת כהונה של חבר המועצה
(א)תקופת כהונתו של חבר המועצה תהיה ארבע שנים, ואפשר לשוב ולמנותו, לפי הוראות סעיף 7, לתקופת כהונה אחת נוספת, וכן, לאחר הפסקה של ארבע שנים, לשוב ולמנותו לשתי תקופות כהונה נוספות רצופות כאמור לכל היותר.
(ב)על אף האמור בסעיף קטן (א), את חבר המועצה שהוא ראש אגף משפחות והנצחה במשרד הביטחון או הגנז ניתן לשוב ולמנות לתקופות כהונה נוספות כל עוד הם מכהנים בתפקידם.
