80. רשות לשוב ולמדוד ולשקול טובין
טובין שהוחסנו רשאי פקיד־מכס לשוב ולמדדם ולשקלם או לבדקם, בין על פי הוראות גובה המכס ובין על פי בקשתו של בעל הטובין ועל חשבונו, והמכס ישולם לפי התוצאות, זולת אם יש יסוד סביר להניח שמשהו מן הפחת או מן ההפרש שנתגלה נגרם על ידי אמצעים בלתי הוגנים.
