לענין הזכות לגימלה לפי חוק שירות המדינה (גימלאות), תשט״ו–1955, דין איש משמר הכנסת כדין שוטר, בשינויים המחוייבים על פי הענין ובתיאומים שקבע יושב־ראש הכנסת, והסמכויות הניתנות בחוק האמור למפקח הכללי של המשטרה ולשר לבטחון הפנים, יהיו נתונות ליושב־ראש הכנסת.
