3. הגבלות בנידון המרת דתם של אנשים פחותים מבני שמונה עשרה שנה
תיקון: תש״ח
(1)מי שהמיר את עדתו ולא מלאו לו שמונה עשרה שנה אין תוקף להמרתו אלא אם כן נתקבלה הסכמתו של אחד מהורי האדם או הסכמת אפוטרופסו והודיעו על הסכמה זאת לממונה על המחוז [במקור: מושל המחוז].
(2)אם קיים ספק בנוגע לגילו של האדם, תהא ההחלטה בענין זה מסורה לממונה על המחוז [במקור: מושל המחוז] שבמחוז מגוריו של המבקש, לאחר שימלך בדעת הרשות הדתית המקומית של אותה העדה שהמבקש רוצה לעזבה.
