הרשיע בית המשפט אדם בעבירה על פקודה זו והטיל עליו קנס, רשאי הוא להעניק חלק מן הקנס כאמור, שאינו עולה על מחציתו, למי שהמידע שהוא מסר הביא להרשעה.
