הוראות חוק זה יחולו גם על בקשות שהיו תלויות ועומדות לפני בית המשפט ביום תחילתו של חוק זה, שעניינן פתיחת קבר, הוצאת גופה מקברה ולקיחת דגימת DNA מגופה לשם עריכת בדיקה גנטית לקשרי משפחה, שמתקיימים בהן שאר התנאים המנויים בחוק זה.
