10. הוראת מעבר
חוק זה יחול, לגבי התקופה שלאחר פרסומו, גם על מי שפרש מהשירות במשטרה לפני הפרסום ועל בני משפחתו של שוטר שנפטר לפני הפרסום, למעט –
(1)מי שהגיש בקשה לפי סעיף 4 לחוק המשטרה (נכים ונספים), התשט״ו–1955, והיא נדחתה;
(2)מי שהגיש בקשה כאמור, או בקשה לקצין התגמולים, אחרי שעברה תקופת ההתיישנות החלה לגביו לפי סעיף 4(ה) לחוק האמור.
