13. פקיעת כהונה
חבר המועצה יחדל לכהן לפני תום תקופת כהונתו באחת מאלה:
(1)התפטר במסירת כתב התפטרות לשר;
(2)חדל להיות עובד המשרד הממשלתי, עובד או חבר בגוף שאותו הוא מייצג במועצה או עובד עיריית ירושלים, לפי הענין;
(3)לגבי נציג הציבור – אם נתמנה להיות עובד המדינה או עובד עיריית ירושלים.
