1. שירותים
ספריה ציבורית תספק את השירותים האלה:
(1)ארגון הספרים בספריה;
(2)השאלת ספרים למבוגרים, לבני נוער ולילדים;
(3)שימוש בספרים בין כתלי הספריה;
(4)מתן ייעוץ והדרכה לקוראים בכל הנוגע לשימוש בספרים, לרבות שירות ביבליוגרפי;
(5)מתן שירותי מידע;
(6)ארגון פעולות משלימות ופעולות מרחיבות.
