14. מתן הסבר וקבלת הסכמה
(א)כל פעולה הכרוכה בהפריה חוץ־גופית כאמור בתקנה 2 תיעשה רק לאחר שהרופא האחראי הסביר לכל אחד מהנוגעים בדבר את משמעותה ואת התוצאות העשויות לנבוע ממנה, וקיבל הסכמה מודעת של כל אחד מהם בנפרד.
(ב)כל פעולה הכרוכה בהפריה חוץ־גופית של אשה נשואה תיעשה רק לאחר קבלת הסכמתו של בעלה.
(ג)הסכמה לפי תקנות אלה –
(1)לא תינתן לאדם מסויים או לענין מסויים;
(2)תינתן בכתב ובנוכחות רופא ובלבד שהסכמת בני זוג נשואים תינתן על גבי מסמך אחד.
