5. מטרות הקרן
מטרות הקרן יהיו –
(1)לקדם המדע לכל תחומיו והאמנות לכל צורותיה;
(2)להעניק פרסים לאנשי מדע ואמנים נודעים בעד השגיהם למען האנושות ולמען יחסי ידידות בין עמים, בלי הבדל אזרחות, גזע, צבע, דת, מין או השקפה פוליטית;
(3)לתת מילגות לסטודנטים, מענקים לאנשי מדע העוסקים במחקר והלוואות לאוניברסיטאות ולמוסדות להשכלה גבוהה אחרים בישראל, כמו הטכניון – מכון טכנולוגי לישראל או מכון ויצמן למדע, לפי תקנון הקרן.
