1. הגדרות
בחוק זה –
”הקרן“ – קרן המדע הדו־לאומית של ארצות־הברית וישראל, שהוקמה על־פי הסכם הקרן;
”הסכם הקרן“ – ההסכם שבין ממשלת ישראל לבין ממשלת ארצות הברית של אמריקה, שנחתם ביום 27 בספטמבר 1972, לרבות חילופי מכתבים בין הממשלות האמורות מאותו יום.
