18. בדיקת מחלות מידבקות
תיקון: תשנ״ג
כלוא שנתקבל לבית הסוהר לשם כליאה, יעבור בדיקת מחלות מידבקות בידי קצין רפואה בסמוך, ככל האפשר, לאחר קבלתו ולא יאוחר מ־48 שעות לאחריה, ועד שייבדק יופרד, במידת האפשר, מאסירים אחרים.
