מת כלוא בבית הסוהר, ידווח המפקד על כך מיד לקצין הרפואה, לקמצ״ר, לפרקליטות הצבאית של המרחב בו נמצא בית הסוהר ולשלישות הראשית, וינהג בענין בהתאם לאמור בפקודות הצבא.
