יש ליעץ במיוחד את רב החובל של אניות שעמדו ליד כל נמל בישראל שנוגע בקדחת צהובה לערוך בזמן הנסיעה חפוש אחרי חידקים [צ״ל: יתושים] וביציהם ולדאוג להשמדתם השטתית בכל עבר ופנה באניה, וביחוד בחדרי המחסנים, בבתי הכבוד, בחדרי הקלחות, בגיגיות המים ובשאר מקומות המועדים באופן מיוחד לשמש מקלט לסטיגומיה.
