3. פיצויים לדוגמה
(א)דרש מזמין האירוע בכתב את השבת המקדמה שהוא זכאי לה לפי חוק זה, והמפעיל לא שילם את הסכום בתוך חודש מיום הדרישה, רשאי בית המשפט לפסוק פיצויים שאינם תלויים בנזק (בסעיף זה – פיצויים לדוגמה), בסכום שלא יעלה על 10,000 שקלים חדשים.
(ב)בקביעת פיצויים לדוגמה רשאי בית המשפט לשקול, בין השאר, את חומרת ההפרה, היקפה הכספי ונסיבותיה.
