רשאי שר האוצר [במקור: ראש בית האוצר] עפ״י הכרעת דעתו לקצוב גמול לאדם המוסר ידיעות המביאות לידי חיוב אדם בדין או לגבית קנס, ואותו גמול ישולם מתוך כספים שנגבו במשפט שעפ״י פקודה זו:
בתנאי שלא יקבל אדם פרס של יותר מחמשים לירות אלא בהסכמתו של שר האוצר.
