6. הוראות מעבר – החלפת מטבע
עד יום שיקבע שר האוצר בתקנות, המוסר לבנק שטרי כסף ומעות נקובים בלירות ישראליות ואגורות, לרבות מטבע מבוטל, יהיה זכאי לקבל תמורתם, ללא עמלה, שטרי כסף ומעות נקובים בשקלים ובאגורות חדשות, ועל כל בנק, בכל סניפיו, להחליף מטבע כאמור ככל שהדבר ניתן במאמצים סבירים.
