8. ציון מומים מסויימים של הניצב בפני הנוטריון
ניצב לפני נוטריון לשם אימות חתימה, קבלת תצהיר או הצהרה אחרת או עריכת מסמך לחתימתו אדם שהוא אילם, חרש או עיוור, יציין הנוטריון באישורו את עובדה זו וכן את הדרך שבה השתכנע שאותו אדם אמנם הבין את משמעותה של הפעולה; שוכנע נוטריון שהניצב לפניו אינו יודע לחתום את שמו, יבוא, לענין תקנות אלה, במקום החתימה – טביעת האצבע שלו.
