5. איחור במסירת הודעה או בהגשת תביעה
הוגשה תביעה לאחר המועד שנקבע או אם הוגשה תביעה במועד אך לא נמסרה הודעה על נזק או שנמסרה לאחר המועד שנקבע, לא ישולמו פיצויים בגין אותה תביעה, אבל רשאי המנהל לשלם פיצויים, כולם או מקצתם, אם הוכח להנחת דעתו כי היתה סיבה סבירה לאיחור בהגשת התביעה או לאי מסירת ההודעה על נזק או למסירתה באיחור.
