16. קשרים חברתיים
משמונה לכהונתו, אין מוטל על דיין לנתק את קשריו החברתיים, לרבות קשרים עם טוענים רבניים ועורכי דין; יחד עם זאת, ראוי לו לדיין כי ייזהר בקשריו החברתיים וייתן דעתו כיצד עשויות הבריות לפרש הימצאותו בחברת אדם מסוים או בחברה מסוימת, בבחינת והייתם נקיים מה׳ ומישראל.
