חייל אשר חתם על מסמך שנקבע בפקודות הצבא כתעודה לצורך סעיף זה, ולא נקט אמצעים סבירים כדי לבדוק את נכונותו ודיוקו של פרט חשוב מן הפרטים שהתעודה מעידה עליהם, דינו – מאסר שתי שנים.
