על אף האמור בסעיף 1(ג) בחוק סדר הדין הפלילי (סמכויות אכיפה – מעצרים), התשנ״ו–1996, יחול החוק האמור על הליכי מעצר לפי חוק זה, רק מקום שחוק זה הפנה אליו.
