הקטין רשאי עם התבגרותו לתבוע דין וחשבון מן האפוטרופוס, והאפוטרופוס חייב לתת פירוטים, ועליו הראיה במקרה שהוציא מזונות ללא רשות מאת הקאדי או נתבקש לתת דין וחשבון עליה.
