נישואי נשים שהן דואת־אל־רחם – אל מחרם, עם גבר שבינו לבינן יש קרבת יוחסין – אסורים ובטלים.
הערת המתרגם: דואת־אל־רחם: מי שמוגדר כקרוב קוגנטי בדרגת קרבה האסורה בנישואין, מחרם: במובן אסור לנישואין.
הנשים הנ״ל הן ארבעה סוגים:
א.אמו של האיש וסבותיו.
ב.בנותיו ונכדותיו.
ג.אחיותיו ובנות אחיו ואחיותיו בכלל ונכדותיהן.
ד.דודותיו בכלל (כולל אחיות האב ואחיות האם).
