הקאדי ימנה מורשה אחד או יותר לעריכת חוזה נישואין בכל כפר או עיירה לפי הצורך. אין המורשה רשאי לערוך חוזה נישואין אלא לאחר קבלת רשות מיוחדת על כך ובכתב מאת הקאדי.
