26.
הארוס או המאורסת רשאים לחזור בהם מן האירוסין מבלי שדבר כלשהו יחייב אותם. במה שנוגע למתנות האירוסין, הרי אם הארוס הוא שחזר בו – אז אינו רשאי לבקש בחזרה דבר ממה שנתן למאורסת, בין שהדבר היה קיים בזמן חזרתו ובין שלא, אם המאורסת היא שחזרה בה – חייבת היא להחזיר לארוס כל דבר שקיבלה ממנו, ועליה להחזירו בעין אם היה קיים, ואם אבד בזמן חזרתה, עליה להחזיר דבר דומה לו או שוויו, אלא אם הותנה ביניהם אחרת.
