מזונות הם ההוצאות שהבעל מוציא על בני משפחתו ואשתו, לרבות מזון, כסות, מגורים, ריפוי ושירות העוזרת הניתן לאישה בעלת כבוד או נכה או חולה. תשלום דמי המזונות ייקבע בהסכמת בני הזוג או לפי פסק דינו של הקאדי.
