אב אינו רשאי לקנות לעצמו את רכוש ילדו ולא למכור את רכושו הוא לילדו, ולא למשכן את רכושו אצל ילדו, ולא למשכן אצלו את רכוש ילדו, ולא להלוות את רכוש ילדו ולא ללוות לילדו, אלא אם הרשה זאת הקאדי ומינה אפוטרופוס לעריכת החוזה. האב אינו רשאי בשום פנים לתת במתנה דבר מרכוש הקטין ולו גם בתמורה.
