40. מחיקת מידע ממערכת הגבייה
(א)המידע המפורט השמור במערכת הגבייה לגבי כל רכב, למעט מידע מותמם כמשמעותו בסעיף 37(ב), יימחק בחלוף שנתיים ושלושה חודשים מיום שמירתו במערכת, למעט הודעת החיוב שתישמר במערכת עד תום שבע שנים מיום הנפקתה.
(ב)על אף האמור בסעיף קטן (א), מידע כאמור לא יימחק אם הוא דרוש להליך משפטי או להליך גבייה שהחל לפני תום התקופה האמורה באותו סעיף קטן, לתקופה שבה הוא דרוש.
