20. החלפת שופט
כל עוד לא הוחל בגביית ראיות, רשאי שופט אחר להמשיך במשפט מן השלב שאליו הגיע קודמו; הוחל בגביית ראיות ונבצר משופט מסיבה כלשהי לסיים את המשפט, רשאי שופט אחר להמשיך את המשפט מן השלב שאליו הגיע קודמו ורשאי הוא, לאחר שנתן הזדמנות לבעלי הדין להשמיע טענותיהם לענין, לנהוג בראיות שגבה קודמו כאילו גבה אותן בעצמו או לחזור ולגבותן, כולן או מקצתן.
