29. סגולת הכשרה של מטרופוליטן והגמון
תיקון: תש״ח
כל שיש לו סגולות ההכשרה דלקמן יהא ראוי למינוי כמטרופוליטן או כהגמון:–
(א)שהוא נתין ישראלי או נתין עבר הירדן; וכן
(ב)שהגיע לשנות בגרות לפי דיני הכנסיה האורתודוכסית;
(ג)שהוא נזיר אורתודוכסי; וכן
(ד)שאין רבב באפיו; [צ״ל: וכן]
(ה)היודע את הלשון הערבית; וכן
(ו)שקנה נסיון בדיני הכנסיה האורתודוכסית, במנהגיה ובהנהלתה.
