האפטרירך בסינוד יהא אישיות משפטית, ויהא מוסמך לרכוש מטלטלין ומקרקעין, לקבל גמילות־חסד והקדשות ולשמש נאמן לכל מטרה שיש לה קשר לסמכויות או לתפקידים של האפטרירך בסינוד.
