תושב־חוץ שהשקיע השקעה מאושרת בישראל ובא להשתקע בישראל, יהיה פטור שבע שנים מיום היותו תושב בישראל מן החובה להציע לשר האוצר מטבע זר למכירה. פטור זה לא יחול על מטבע חוץ שהושג מעסקים בישראל.
