Section 4 of כללי הדיינים (יציאת דיין לקצבה מחמת מצב בריאותו), התשמ״ה–1985, דיון בועדה ומינוי רופאים.
4. דיון בועדה ומינוי רופאים
(א)על פי הצעת יושב ראש הועדה, בהתייעצות עם נשיא בית־הדין הגדול, תדון הועדה בשאלה אם קיים צורך בעריכת בירור רפואי.
(ב)ראתה הועדה צורך בבירור רפואי, יבקש המנהל את המנהל הכללי של משרד הבריאות למנות רופא בודק או רופאים בודקים.
(ג)נתמנה רופא בודק יודיע המנהל על כך לנבדק במכתב רשום.
