17. חידוש ביטוח ברשות
אדם שהופסק ביטוחו לפי תקנה 16 רשאי להודיע למוסד, תוך 12 חדשים מיום הפסקת הביטוח, על רצונו לחדשו והמוסד יחדש את ביטוחו החל במועד הפסקת הביטוח כאמור, ובלבד שהמבקש שילם כל חוב של דמי ביטוח או מקדמות, לרבות החוב בעד התקופה שבין הפסקת הביטוח ובין מועד הגשת הבקשה לחידושו.
