Section 1 of תקנות הביטוח הלאומי (ילד המשרת בהתנדבות בשירות למטרה ציבורית או לאומית), התשנ״ז–1997, שירות למטרה ציבורית או לאומית.
1. שירות למטרה ציבורית או לאומית
בתקנות אלה –
”שירות למטרה ציבורית או לאומית“ – כל אחד מאלה:
(1)הדרכת נוער בתנועות נוער או בפנימיות;
(2)טיפול חינוכי וחברתי בילדים ונוער בישובי ספר, בעיירות פיתוח וביישובים הנתונים במצוקה כלכלית, חברתית או תרבותית;
(3)הדרכה וחינוך לידיעת הארץ והכרתה;
(4)עבודה במסגרת גרעין נח״ל כמשמעותו בפקודות הצבא כהגדרתן בחוק השיפוט הצבאי, התשט״ו–1955, המיועדת לחזק קיבוץ, מושב או עיירת פיתוח, הנמצאים באזור ספר.
