Section 8 of תקנות סמכויות שעת־חירום (מעצרים) (תנאי החזקה במעצר מינהלי), התשמ״א–1981, זכות לקבלת חפצים אישיים.
8. זכות לקבלת חפצים אישיים
(א)עציר זכאי לקבל מהמפקד חפצים אישיים, מחפציו שהופקדו עם כניסתו למעצר, אם הוא נזקק להם לשימושו במקום מעצרו וכן זכאי הוא לקבל כלי רחצה וניקוי הדרושים לשימושו, הכל בתנאי שאין החפצים חפצים האסורים להחזקה בבית סוהר.
(ב)עציר זכאי להחזיק ברשותו ספר תנ״ך או קוראן או הברית החדשה ותשמישי קדושה הדרושים לו לתפילה על פי דתו.
(ג)עציר זכאי לקבל לקריאה עתונים וספרים כפי שיקבע המפקד.
