16. החזרת עניין לגורם מאבחן והוראה להשלמת מידע
סבר הגורם המכיר כי כדי לקבל את החלטתו כאמור בסעיפים 14 ו־15 נדרש מידע נוסף, רשאי הוא –
(1)להחזיר את העניין לגורם המאבחן או לגורם מאבחן אחר, כדי שיערוך בדיקות נוספות וישוב ויקבע לפי תוצאותיהן את האבחון או את הערכת רמת התמיכה;
(2)להורות לזכאי או למבקש ההכרה, לנציגם או לגורם המטפל, על השלמת מידע ומסמכים.
