11. בדיקת רישומים פליליים ומשמעתיים
לא יובא ענינו של מועמד לדיון לפני ועדת הבחירה אלא לאחר שהמנהל קיבל לגביו מידע מעודכן מן המשטרה ומשירות הבטחון הכללי, אם היו נגד המבקש הליכים משפטיים בבתי המשפט או בבתי דין ולאחר שבדק עם לשכת עורכי הדין אם היו הליכים משמעתיים של הלשכה נגדו; מידע כאמור יתייחס גם לזיכויים בדין ולתיקים תלויים ועומדים.
