12. בדיקת חידוש
אנייה ישראלית תיבדק בידי בודק מוסמך בבדיקת חידוש במרווח זמן שיחליט לגביו המנהל שלא יעלה על 5 שנים בכפוף לאמור בתקנות 25 ו־28 עד 30, אשר תכלול בדיקה מלאה של המבנה, הציוד, המערכות, האבזרים, הסידורים והחומרים ותוודא שהם מקיימים במלואם אחר דרישות תקנות אלה (להלן – בדיקת חידוש).
