10. בדיקת רישומים פליליים ומשמעתיים
לא יובא ענינו של מועמד לפני ועדת הבחירה אלא לאחר שהמרכז קיבל לגביו מידע מעודכן מן המשטרה, משירות הבטחון הכללי ומן הגורם המתאים בצבא, אם היו נגד המבקש הליכים משפטיים בבתי המשפט או בבתי דין, ולאחר שבדק בלשכת עורכי הדין אם היו הליכים משמעתיים של הלשכה נגדו; מידע כאמור יתייחס גם לזיכויים בדין ולתיקים תלויים ועומדים.
