לקראת תום תקופת המינוי הראשונה ולקראת כל הארכה של המינוי, לרבות הפיכתו של המינוי לתקופה מוגבלת למינוי של קבע, תדון ועדת הבחירה מחדש בכשירויותיו של שופט התעבורה, ותתן דעתה ללקחים הנובעים מפעולתו השיפוטית של השופט במשך תקופת המינוי הקודמת.
