2. הארכת שירותו של הורו או אלמנתו של נספה
תיקון: תשכ״ד, תשכ״ט
על אף האמור בסעיף 16 לחוק שירות המדינה (גימלאות), תשט״ו–1955, רשאי נציב שירות המדינה להאריך שירותו של עובד, שהוא בן משפחה, מעל לגיל 65, אם העובד טרם הגיע לגיל 70 שנה והוא עודנו מוכשר לשירות.
