במילוי תפקידיו יפעל השמאי כלפי לקוחו וכלפי המבטח במהימנות, בנאמנות וביושר וינקוט אמצעים סבירים כדי להבטיח התנהגותם המהימנה, הנאמנה והישרה של עובדיו.
