24. עתיקה בעלת חשיבות מדעית מיוחדת
(א)המנהל או מי שהוא הסמיך לכך רשאי להודיע בכתב לאספן, כי עתיקה שבידי האספן היא בעלת חשיבות מדעית מיוחדת (להלן – עתיקה מיוחדת).
(ב)המנהל או מי שהוא הסמיך לכך ינהל רישום של עתיקות מיוחדות ושל הפרטים, התצלומים והתרשימים שנתקבלו או נעשו לפי סעיף 23 והם יהיו פתוחים לעיון הציבור כפי שיקבע.
